Plasma TV: unstable and difficult to calibrate?

I found this great deal on a plasma TV Vizio 42 "at Circuit City. When I went to buy it I have a huge field of such sales that ultimately led to me having to spend an extra $ 500 (or more). Here are some of the things said: 1) plasma TV are unstable during the first 5 years. If anything goes wrong at the time, lasting a total of about 30 years. (She said it hopes to sell me the plan 5 years service.) 2) Without proper calibration of an expert or someone who knows about "deeper menu", the TV does the transition between the normal and watch DVDs or video games. (He wanted me to buy the home in professional settings.) 3) even packed in their original boxes, plasma TVs, floor can not be placed in transit – they have to stand. (He wanted me to have the TV delivered in his truck rather than transported in my car.) Is it all this true? Or was I fed a load of trash to make more money in commissions?

First try to stay away from plasma TVs. It will not last. The gas is burned in the interior over time, and run very hot shorting the life of the television. If you only buy what I recommend is to get the extended warranty. Unless you plan to hang on the wall in the home setting is not necessary. I carry every day and whenever she slept. I would not recommend do so for long. If you take home directory will be fine. They make more money on TV accessories. You do not need a technician to further the system set.
