There are many companies that make flat screen TV, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sony, Sharp, Vizio, etc. Vizio is a new company (started in 2002). The other companies have been around for a while, have a great name recognition. Vizio is beginning to have great name recognition as well.

Vizio has the advantage over brand names, such as Samsung (until recently the company that sold most flat screen TV) is about price positioning.
