To buy a Sony 1080p LCD TV or LG?

I heard the LG is the brand, but I can save $ 200 by buying a Sony. Is there that much difference you must spend $ 200 more for an LG?

LG whole way. LG LCD TV I have 4 and love them. I do not like Sony is that their screens appear to be regulatory local governments. This is, of course, just my opinion.
