Help with mini display port please?
I own a 2010 13″ Macbook Pro (2.4GHz) and a 40″ Series 8 Samsung Led TV. I know that I can extend my mac’s desktop onto my TV with a Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter, but Mini Display Ports only transfer video and not audio. What can I do to also transfer the audio to my TV?
One of the HDMI ports on your Samsung LED TV should have a set of red and white analog RCA audio jacks (or a stereo-mini jack) associated with it.
You need an audio patch cable that can connect your Macbook Pro’s headphone jack to the stereo audio input on your TV.
