In desperate need of help finding tv base for samsung 42″ flat screen?

just bought a 42 samsung flat screen tv from a friend. she had it mounted to her wall and doesnt know where the base is so that the tv can just sit on a tv stand and not have to be mounted, can anyone tell help me found a base for this TV so that i dont have to buy a stand that has a mount. thanks

They are an authorized seller of parts for Samsung products. If you do not see your model number listed for one of the parts, call Samsung and ask them for the part number and do a search based on that. Unfortunately the part will cost you roughly 70-100 bucks for a TV that size. You could always tell your friend you will give her another 50 bucks if she finds the stand though ;P

Just curious though, why on earth would she be selling such a wonderful thing as a Samsung TV?
