samsung lcd tv’s, good or bad?
i’m considering buying a 46 inch samsung tomorrow, but why am i nervous, should i spend a few hundred extra, and buy something like a sony, instead ! Thanx for your help.
Actually Samsung tvs are really poor products. I have about 5 2005-2006 LCD tvs stacked upon each other with major problems. Customers didnt want to get it fixed because the part were either too high, no longer available, and because I tell them that they are trashy tvs. Which is true.
The do not use protection circuitry, the service manuals are sometimes not the best. The service dept sucks. Poor pictures when compared to sony products.
Anywho, I do not sell samscum products to my customers. I sell only sony, because not only are they rated #1 in consumer reports, but they are built to last and have excellent factory support. Never had a problem with my sony tvs.
A service plan is always recommended, I suggest getting it from sony’s website to cutt out the middle third party warranty groups. Most of the time getting a warranty directly from sony is cheaper.
