The samsung LCD television is a very good television. I think 26 inch is the perfect size. I think that would be a nice addition to a room. I know from personal experience that Samsung makes nice televisions. If a 26 inch is too large or too expensive, you should look into the 23 inch and lower. I wouldn’t go smaller than 15 inch but I think that a 26 incher would be a very nice large television. I hope this will help you!!

most people don’t realize that being too close to the TV set can cause you to have bad eyesight. and having a TV set that is too small is just as bad.. I would have to say measure the distance from where your going to sit or lay to the wall where your going to put the set….if you have 6 feet or less, go with 20 inches or less..if you have more add an inch to the screen for every foot of floor space beyond the 6 foot mark.

You should buy the largest TV screen size you can afford. Samsung makes good LCD TV’s.

I would be tempted to actually go for the 26 inch in this situation. I’ve owned a 22 inch television in the past which was adequate, but a 26 inch would have been ideal.

I’ve found the following calculator where you can specify the distance you will be at, and it will calculate the ideal size.
