i need help with my new samsung t.v?
i just bought a new Samsung LN26A330 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV and when i plug in the cables from the dvd to the t.v, the picture is black and white….how do i fix this??

Well you’re definitely not using an HDMI cable…
A black and white picture is created when you are using the 5 wire COMPONENT cables and ONLY the GREEN Video connection is connected…
Your Red and Blue Video is actually not connected, and it could be on the TV-end or the DVD-end.
Look closely at the connections, sometimes those component connectors are manufactured in such a way as to allow you to separate each line/wire about a foot back on both ends to remove the stress on each connection….I see that occur ALL THE TIME ! Separate them 1st about a foot.
Then reinstall them….you know the drill. And make sure you didn’t connect the RED AUDIO to the RED VIDEO connector either.
Now you should have full color to your TV set. And always connect red to red, green to green, blue to blue (just in case you’re connecting the Yellow to the Green–that’s another connection that will make it black and white, but it usually gives you dancing squares in your picture)
