Why 3D TV type is?

However, 3D films have made a bizarre return to film in the form of unprecedented phenomenon that was "Avatar", and the technology is now making its way into homes.

There are four ways to create a 3D image on a screen – Polarization, the sequence of anaglyphs, alternative-frame, and auto-stereoscopic. The first three require the use of glasses, but the auto-stereoscopic creates the effect entirely within the screen itself.

The polarization creates the illusion of 3D using glasses to restrict the amount of light reaching each eye. Two images are projected through polarizing filters on the same screen, and when viewed through lenses that match the polarization, the image appears three dimensional. Polarization was very popular film in 1950, but has been replaced by more complex methods and full 3D technology.

Anaglyph 3D is similar to polarization. Works by creating an image with two layers of color compensation, usually red and cyan. When a person sees the image, while wearing glasses that contain these colors – one for each lens – a 3D stereoscopic image is created. A small number of films in 3D 1950 uses this method and has been around more polarized 3D – In particular, and that works well for static 2D images, such as comic books. Despite being quite far, 3D anaglyph is still occasionally today. For example, in August 2008 launched Disney Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert 3D anaglyph with red-cyan glasses that came with the Blu-ray.

There are a few different ways to generate an auto-stereoscopic image, and it has not yet been seen to be most effective. Essentially, the method creates the bottom of the screen itself, often through the use of a number of different lenses. Depending on your viewing angle, is a slightly different image – like real life. Although there are no TVs 3D by this method in the market right now, the models currently under development at Sharp, LG and Philips.

Chances are if you buy a TV 3D today, use the alternative technology-frame sequencing. However, this is not the case for long. There are different ways to approach many 3D that many manufacturers and movie studios have asked the professional organizations like the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and the Association of Consumer Electronics to work collaboratively in the development of an industry standard. Although progress has been made, a uniform method of 3D visualization is still some distance away. If you want 3D at home over the next decade, it is very likely that you'll have plenty of choices.
