What features are most important to buy a 22 inch widescreen LCD?

I would buy a 22 inch widescreen LCD monitor for watching movies. My budget is $ 350. I want great picture quality. So what monitor I can buy?

Highlights to look at are the resolution, brightness and response time. The response time is more for games but it seems logical that a faster response time is the same video softer. the resolution in my opinion, is by far the most important, although there is no point in HD if the screen is dark.
