I want to buy a 40 "to 50" LCD flat screen TV, I would like some comments on what model to buy?

Should I buy a Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Phillips, Westinghouse or? Support the conclusions with the facts, experience, comments, etc. I have limited options to LCD, and long lasting rather than plasma screens. Yes it would be HD and have the highest available res1080 ..

While the higher resolution would be a samsung availible or plasma (better resolution) or a (bright) LCD if you see a lot of TV to get LCD because the plasma only lasts about 10,000 hours before burning in other problems, but if it is their constant watching TV then get the plasma is better for watching movies about sports, etc. Samsung deffintly but go and get the witch Samsung Blu-ray discs will play Blu-ray DVD and HD-DVD all in one one HD-DVD player can not do that, but Sony Westing house and panisonic escpeciallly.
