february 17 digital transition. converter box, or hdtv with built in digital tuner?

i’m willing to put some money into this with the three tvs i have at home. would the converter box be the best, or buying a new hdtv with a built in digital tuner. which one will i get better signals from?

Converter box only makes your signals digital. So you won’t get better picture quality, go buy a new HDTV, maybe Pioneer brand TV’s?
