How do I hook up my HD ready (no tuner) TV to an HD-DVD player?
I bought an HD ready TV 3 years ago. The problem is that it has no build in tuner, and the best input it can accept is component Video (no HDMI or DVI).
I noticed that HD (and Blu-ray) DVD players have an HDMI HD output. Their component video output is Standard Definition. Is there anything I can do to get HD on my TV?
You should be good to go using component cables and get HD from your dvd player. The tuner is only for “over the air” hd broadcasts.
