which is better a HD CRT TV or a HD LCD TV.?

This all depends in what your are looking for in a TV. If picture quality is what you are looking for, CRT is still the best picture quality that you can get. Especially since CRT is by far cheaper than LCD. However, the major “flaw” of CRT is the size and weight. Take for example a Sony 40″ HD CRT, when they made it, the weight was approximately 300 plus lbs, versus a 40″ Sony LCD which weighs about 60lbs. Also don’t even get me talking about the depth of the units. Needless to say, you are going to need a little bit more room for a CRT. However, if the size of your room is say larger than 10ft x 10ft room then getting something other than a CRT may be the way to go since the largest HD CRT was a 40″ screen. So, as you can see there are many pros and cons, some of which I didn’t even touch, so you should weigh your options carefully and make the choice that makes most sense to you, money wise, aesthetics wise, etc… Good luck to you!
