Are commercial / TV advertisements considered as a form of ART?

Sure. If any creative effort is involved, it could be considered art. There would be writers, designers and videographers involved in the production. If the commercial is, at all effective, then it would reflect the training and professionalismof all involved in the process.

Like in any other forms of are, some of it is good, some of it is less so. Like that “Akavar” add, “Eat all you want, and STILL lose weight.”
