Is it possible to use an onboard ATI graphics controller with a PCI-E GPU to get 4 monitors (2 VGA and 2 DVI)?

I am looking at this motherboard MSI 760GM-E51.
If I plugged a Radeon GPU into the motherboard could I use both VGA ports and both DVI ports to drive 4 monitors?
Does crossfire technology apply to multiple monitors, or does it only apply to 3D rendering?

I know this is possible with GeForce because I am doing it now (with 3 monitors).

The 760G chipset does indeed alllow 2 video out from the integrated video. One must be VGA and the other can be one of DVI or HDMI. A Radeon GPU of either 4000 or 5000 series will be able to go with 2 as well but both CAN be DVI or HDMI as VGA is usually available only through a dongle anyway. I don’t have 4 monitors to try it on my setup but I have hooked up 3 and all ran well.

‘Crossfire’ is video rendering used mostly for games. It has nothing to do with 2D desktop usage. Gaming will only show on one monitor unless you have a 5000 series card and are using Eyefinity and 3 monitors at least.
