3D HDTV – 4 Sources of 3D Entertainment
After splashing out on a high definition television is that new 3D now find some of the new 3D content to explore and fully enjoy the capabilities of your new TV. The following list is a good start to the collection of a list of contents. So what are these sources?
- Movies – Already available 3D movies on Blu-Ray can be enjoyed. This however, only the work of newer players Blu-Ray can show 3D content. As with all new technologies that will become the norm in the future. We have recently seen a number of 3D movies like Avatar, up from Disney and Monsters vs. Aliens. Disney has also stated that all their releases future films will be 3D.
- TV Channels – In 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in dozens of manufacturers and broadcasters announced that they would offer support to new products and 3D media. ESPN Sports, Discovery Channel and Sky Network announced it would launch the 3D channel in the near future.
- 2D to 3D Conversion – Many new 3D HDTV being launched with 2D and 3D movie converters that have normal and sports programs and 3D visualization. Although the technology is still in early stages and is quite good and will be even more striking in future.
- Games – Sony has announced that it is also in the process of developing 3D games for high definition television 3D. This is not the usual game show 3D graphics on the screen but the games that actually looks like they are being projected off the screen.
