Should I buy an LCD Full HD TV or LCD for my PS3?

I have a small room. i play my ps3 on a sd tv. so I want to move to HD. I buy an alienware OPTX AW2210 (21.5''Full HD monitor) or ips panels 26''LCD LG TV (720p LCD TV). I can have a difference in 1080p and 720p on smaller screens. I would be playing on my ps3 from 3 feet away from the screen. please findings suggest solution or advice. if lcd listed below, please, a speaker system to connect the PS3. thanks in advance. (My Budet is about 30k.)
